Hi, I’m Amie — a stay-at-home mum, train track builder, tea reheater, and the heart behind MyLittleDreamer.
This business began in the middle of everyday mum life. Like so many parents, I found myself worrying about how much time my child was spending in front of a screen. And while they kept little hands busy, I could see something was missing — creativity, movement, imagination, connection.
One afternoon, we pulled out an old train set. Within minutes, the living room floor became a bustling railway station. My child was completely absorbed — problem-solving, imagining, creating. That was the moment I knew: this kind of play matters.
But I also noticed the frustrations — tracks that wouldn’t stay together, pieces that slid apart, complicated builds that ended in tears. I started searching for something better. Something sturdy. Something easy for little hands. Something that would encourage independence and creativity without constant adult fixing.
